SADIE and Ryan

Well it's been a while since I blogged and so much has happend. SADIE and I have been staying at the farm and we have been having a blast. She love to run through the fields and run and ride with the rhino. I have been busy lately with school and more school. This is the tuffest semester I have had yet. SADIE went to the groomers the other day and got her hair chopped off. It has been fun with all the snow and rain. I cut her hair short on her legs and on her belly. She looks so good with her hair trimmed. I havent figured out how to post pics yet but I will get it one day. Hope all is well with everyone else and take it easy.

Its been a while and a lot has happened. SADIE and I had the privilege in going to Georgia and being a part of a fund raiser for Paws for Vets and the WTU/AW2. It was a blast and SADIE did very well. Going to Georgia was the longest road trip for SADIE and me. The hospitality that everyone showed was great. Then we went to Alderson for a visit with the inmates. I was sort of put on the spot to speak but all in all I though I did well and SADIE always shines. The look in the inmates eyes when I told them they were making a difference was heart filling. These women work hard and they are so greatful to have the program as am I. Hunting is going well and Friday SADIE and i will be taking a crack at squirrel hunting. I am going to start with a 22 and see how she acts. If that doesn't go well then ill give her time to rest and come up with a new game plan. Hope everyone is doing well and take it easy.

SADIE and Ryan

Well it has been a few fun weeks. SADIE and I have found a groomer that we both like. They follow my directions on how to handler her and reward her when she does what she is suppost to. I take them her favorite treats and make sure that is all the give her. We have also found out SADIE loves golf balls. She retrieves them when im in the back yard practicing. I have to be careful that she does not chew on them do to the center. All in all, it has been a good few week and the love continues to grow.

Hello all, its been a few good weeks for SADIE and me. We have been getting ready for the up coming deer season. Besides pampering her, SADIE injoys getting brushed and taking baths. We have been playing with the waterhose. She jumps and bites at the water adding a few barks with it. She is having fun playing golf with me. She likes to fetch the golf balls and bring them back. It seems to be a good workout for her and I get to work on my game as well. Its a fun relationship. All in all, everything is going great.

PS. Next month SADIE and I might be moving and I will keep you updated on the changes.

Well this week we found out SADIE likes to retrieve golf balls. My father and I will hit them and SADIE will bring them back. SADIE and I are going to the Jackson County Fair. She handles her self really well. When we sit down to watch the events, she lays down and seem really content. That is how SADIE'S and my week has been going.

Rain Rain Rain Its been a good week or so but all this rain is a bummer. SADIE and I have still been working on the food plots for deer. She has a ball riding on the side by side with me and running along side through the woods. I've been a little worried about snake but so far it hasn't been a problem. Next week we have plans to go to Ceder Lakes to play and fish. Hopefully everything goes well. SADIE says Hi.

well it's been a very fun three months for SADIE and me. We have been at the farm running around the woods and doing a lot of fishing. I apologize for the gap in the blogs but we have been with out internet. SADIE has learned that when she is off the leash or outside the fence to stay within her limits to me. I let her explore but when I get uncomfortable with the distance between us I call her back and for the most part SADIE has learned where that line is. All in all, after nine months or so SADIE and I are still learning to work together.
